I bought this book some time after her other book, and find it to be just as good, even better! Easy to read and follow recipes, detailed information, smaller recipes for those who don't want 40 bars at a time. An all around great book, highly recommended!
Samantha - Del Rio, TX (8/23/2005)
Very thourough book if you are interested in making cold process soap. Includes pleasant recipes and information on an array of oils and other ingredients.
Cameron - Orleans, VT (3/10/2005)
This is one of my favorite soapmaking books. It has great soap recipes, as well as some basic recipes for balms and lotions. Covers lots of different techniques, including liquid soap and transparent soap. A great book for beginners through experts!
Lori - Springfield, VA (1/4/2005)
Excellent book. Again, slightly outdated. But perfect for someone just starting. Not overwhelming and not as pedantic as The Natural Soap book!
Denise - Burlington, CT (12/3/2004)
The information is sound and the recipes are fool proof. There are helpful notes in the margins. The book is written in an informed and personable style. There is even a helpful section on starting your own business. I would strongly recommend this book as a terrific reference as well as recipe book.
Denise - Shiloh, OH (8/27/2004)
This is a MUST HAVE book for soapers. It is a great book for beginners and advanced soapers alike. Shampoo bars, baby items, and much much much more.
