HAZELNUT TRUFFLES
Are you nuts about nuts? Crazy for Cocoa Powder? Do you go gaga for gourmet? If so, you might just go nutty for these delectable Bath Truffles. They melt in warm bath water, filling the tub with nourishing Macadamia Nut Butter, and Hazelnut Oil. Not only do they look good enough to eat, the rich aroma of Roasted Nuts and Cocoa Butter make these tiny treats positively scrumptious.
Ingredients:
*To make an all natural version of this recipe, simply leave out the Fragrance Oil. The Cocoa Butter topping will provide a pleasant scent on its own.
Special Supplies:
Instructions:
Melt the Jojoba Esters and Macadamia Nut Butter, and 1 oz. of the Cocoa Butter in a double boiler over medium to high heat. When the butters and wax are fully melted, remove the mixture from the heat and add the Hazelnut Oil and Chickpea Flour. Stir the mixture for a few minutes, allowing it to cool slightly. Mix in the Fragrance Oil next*. Arrange the foil cups on a baking sheet or tray so that they can be poured into simultaneously. You may want to transfer the mixture to a measuring cup with a pour spout or a heavy duty paper cup that can be bent into a spout. This will make filling the cups a little easier. Fill each cup about ¾ of the way up, leaving room for the Cocoa Butter topping that will be applied later. After all of the cups are filled, coarsely chop the remaining two oz. of Cocoa Butter. For best results you should chill the Cocoa Butter prior to chopping it. Allow the Truffles to cool for at least 5 minutes. They should solidify on the top before you add the Cocoa Butter topping. If they are too warm, the Cocoa Butter will melt. Sprinkle a little of the chopped Cocoa Butter into each cup. Next, sprinkle a dash of Cocoa Powder over the Cocoa Butter topping. Allow the Truffles to cool and set for another hour or so before packaging.
Usage and Packaging:
Hazelnut Bath Truffles should be packaged in a container that allows them to remain right-side up at all times. Our Acetate Soap Boxes are perfect. Each box should hold about 6 Truffles. When you are ready to use the Truffles, simply unwrap one or two and drop them in the bath.

LEMON POPPY SEED EXFOLIATING BUTTER BARS
Exfoliating Butter Bars are a beautiful way to simultaneously exfoliate and moisturize your skin. Exfoliants can be added to Body Butter or Lotion Bars, giving them a new purpose in your skin care routine. Lemon Poppy Seed Bars offer gentle exfoliation on one side and a smooth, moisturizing surface on the other side. Light, penetrating Poppy Seed Oil has been combined with the healing properties of Kokum Butter to leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and loved.
Ingredients:
Essential Oil Blend:*
*This Essential Oil Blend can also be substituted for a synthetic Fragrance Oil. We recommend using ¼ oz. of Lemon Sugar Fresh Type Fragrance Oil.
Special Equipment:
Directions:
In a double boiler, melt down the Candelilla Wax completely. Next, add the Kokum Butter. When those two ingredients have been completely melted, add the Poppy Seed Oil and remove the mixture from the heat. Stir the mixture for one to two minutes, allowing it to cool slightly. Add the Essential Oil Blend (or Fragrance Oil if you prefer) and mix well. Next, stir in the Dutch Blue Poppy Seeds. They will float initially, but will sink very quickly once they are dispersed into the oil. You can now pour the mixture into the soap molds. If you are using our Heart Shaped Soap Mold, you should be able to fill four of the cavities completely, or you can opt to partially fill all six of the cavities. The Poppy Seeds will sink very quickly. To make sure you get an even amount of seeds into each mold, stir the mixture before each pour. Allow the bars to cool and set for at least two hours before packaging.
Usage and Packaging:
Like a Salt or Sugar Scrub, the best time to exfoliate is just before a bath or shower. Rub the rough side of the bar all over your skin in a circular motion before beginning you shower. After you come out of the shower and dry off you can use the smooth side of the bar to moisturize your skin. Lemon Poppy Seed Exfoliating Butter Bars fit look wonderful packaged in our Small Cello Bags.

BLISSFUL BODY MOUSSE RECIPE
We can't get enough of this deliciously fragrant variation of Whipped Shea Butter. Peach Kernel Oil and High Linoleic Safflower Oil make this whipped body butter extremely nourishing and moisturizing, but what really makes this recipe irresistible is its heavenly aroma! Vanilla, Bergamot, and Ylang Ylang are known for their aroma therapeutic properties. With each whiff you'll add a little bliss to your day. (Or daydream.)
Ingredients:
Essential Oil Blend:
Directions:
In a double boiler, melt and heat the Shea Butter to approximately 175 Degrees Fahrenheit. Hold the melted Shea Butter at this temperature for at least twenty minutes before adding the Jojoba Esters. Holding the melted Shea Butter at this heat for twenty minutes will allow tiny crystals in the butter to fully melt, allowing a smooth, even texture to form when the butter has cooled. As soon as the Jojoba Esters have melted remove the mixture from heat. Depending on your double boiler you may have to transfer the mixture to a bowl. Next, add the Peach Kernel and Safflower Oils, and the Cornstarch. Stir the mixture well then begin to whip it. I recommend using a hand or stand mixer for this step, as the whipping process can take a fairly long time. Whip the mixture for 5 - 10 minutes then add the Essential Oil Blend. Continue to whip the mixture for another 5 - 10 minutes. As the mixture cools it will thicken, and firm up. The finished mixture can be spooned or piped into containers. Within a few hours, the Mousse should set and become stiff.
Packaging and Usage:
Blissful Body Mousse looks fabulous packed in Flat PET Jars. It can also be stored in Flat Cream Jars or Dome Cream Jars. This recipe makes approximately 20 oz. of decadent mousse (measured by volume). It should fill about five 4 oz. jars or ten 2 oz. jars.

BUTTERFLY BATH BAR RECIPE
Bring a little whimsy to your bath with this charming Butterfly Bath Bar. Bolivian Pink Salt, nourishing Hemp Butter, and moisturizing Peach Kernel Oil make this unique bath melt a treat for your skin. The colorful flowers and fragrant combination of Essential Oils also make it a delight for your senses.
Ingredients:
Essential Oil Blend:*
*For a more economic alternative, you may substitute the Essential Oil Blend for ¼ oz. of our Chamomile and Rose Petals Fragrance Oil. Alternatively, you may also consider substituting the precious Rose and Chamomile Essential Oils for one or more floral essential oils such as Lavender, Ylang Ylang or Geranium.
Special Equipment:
Instructions:
Melt the Hemp Butter and Jojoba Esters in a double boiler over medium to high heat. After the mixture is fully melted remove it from heat and add the Peach Kernel Oil. Next, stir in the Bolivian Pink Salt. Make sure to break up any clumps of salt as clumps will give the bars an uneven texture. Add the Gemtone Garnet Mica, and stir well. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes quite cool, but still loose and liquefied. Carefully spoon the mixture into the Butterfly Soap Molds. Immediately cover the top of the mold with the mixed flowers. Gently press the flowers into the tops of the molds. Allow the bars to cool for at least an hour. After they are fully set and hardened you can turn the mold over and release the bars. Be careful, as they may slip out very easily. Dispose of the excess flowers and package the bars as soon as possible.
Usage and Packaging:
The Butterfly Bath Bar is meant to be used a little at a time. Break off a one inch chunk for each bath, saving the rest for later. Each bar should be enough for three to four baths. They fit perfectly into our Small Cello Bags, and would look great tied with a colorful ribbon.
