I bought this to do with my daughter for gifts. They turned out so cute. They maybe could have used a little more scent than the recipe called for.

Overall, this kit was pretty good. I received it 1/29 and also made the batch of lip pots that night. By yesterday however, one of the people I gave a lip pot to and myself included noticed its not as 'solid' feeling as it was initially. Now when you swip your finger over it, it has a liquid-y feel. Goes on more as a gloss then a balm. Did I mess up the recipe?
FNWL Response: Melissa, I'm guessing, but it sounds like your lip balms need a little more beeswax or a little less oil. If you store them near a heat source or in a bathroom that gets really hot, that could also have caused them to become less firm in texture. Please try experimenting by refrigerating one for 30-60 minutes and then see if that lip balm remains firm.

I ordered the Jelly Bean Lip Balm Kit for my daughter's birthday party. The service was great! Not more than a 1/2 hour after I placed my order, one of your reps called me and recommended a different method of shipping that saved me $10! Wow!
