Green Goddess Body Mask Recipe

Summary:

This creamy mixture smoothes and softens the skin.

Ingredients:

1 cup sliced fresh carrot root
2 cups fresh spinach leaves
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 cups fresh, sliced zucchini squash
1/2 cup vegetable water (left over from steaming veggies)
1/2 cup French green clay

Instructions:

Combine all the vegetables and steam until soft and tender. Let vegetables cool completely and save 1/2 cup of their cooking water. Put the water and veggies in blender or food processor and process until smoothe, pale green and creamy.
Using a whisk or fork, stir in the clay. When finished, spread the creamy mask all over your body using a small paintbrush. Let the mask sit on your skin for 10-15 mins. Wrap an old towel around yourself and lie down if you like. Rinse off body mask with a warm shower and use a rich moisturizer afterward.
Makes approx. 10 oz. enough for 1 treatment.
