Our Aloe Castile Shower Gel is made from saponified oils of coconut, olive and jojoba, vegetable gum/glycerin extract, aloe vera gel and rosemary oil extract (as an anti-oxidant). This castile gel is very mild (pH 9.5-9.6), does not dry out the skin and does not have the strong odor sometimes found in other liquid castile soaps. It can be used as a body wash or as a mild bubble bath. You can add colorants, essential oils and fragrance oils to aloe castile gel, but not all essential/fragrance oils are compatible. Please first test each new essential or fragrance oil in a small amount of gel.
