Our ultra refined cocoa butter is a pure, crushed cocoa butter obtained from the cacao bean, that has been deodorized to remove the chocolate aroma and declolorized to make it white. The fat from the cocoa pod is a very stable fat containing natural anitoxidants that give it a long shelf life of over 3 years.

Cocoa butter is a soothing emollient that has been used for centuries in Africa as a skin care ingredient. It has been used to heal and moisturize skin that has been exposed to the elements. It also helps reduce the formation of stretch marks during pregnancy by keeping the skin supple. It makes a wonderful ingredient in lotion bars, lip balms, body butters, soaps and belly balms for expectant mothers. Cocoa butter is also a great binder for bath bombs.

I made my first purchase of cocoa butter through you and everything I made turned out just as it should have! I made a TERRIBLE mistake in ordering a subsequent batch from another website, hoping to save a few dollars, and nothing I made turned out!!! Live and learn! This is really the best cocoa butter I have found. I am in love, and I will only buy it here from now on. I make lip balm, and it's so wonderful to have such a quality cocoa butter in it. I also use the avocado & shea butters which are fabulous.
