Redberry, also known as Pink Pepper Tree berry or pink peppercornis not actually a peppercorn at all. The oil of this berry has a spicy aromatic scent and has a long history of medicinal use in the tropics. Redberry Select CO2 Extract is reported to be an astringent, antibacterial, diuretic, digestive stimulant, tonic, antiviral and wound healer. The oil can be used in the mouth to treat toothache and in a massage blend to help relieve aches and pains. Lab tests report strong antibacterial and antifungal properties and even antitumerous activity. Use Redberry Select CO2 Extract in healing balms, wound ointments, muscle rubs, and other first aid preparations.
