Comments: Love this fragrance. I use this in bath salts, whipped shea butter and sugar scrubs. One of my favorites!! It smells like the August Beauty Gardenias I have planted in my yard.

Comments: This is the first gardenia I have ever liked. I have many friends who only want floral scented bombs, milk bath and salts, so I'm always on the search for scents that smell exactly like the flower. This nails it.

Comments: The Gardenia oil smell nothing at all like even a trace of gardenia. I know that oil cannot be extracted from this flower but it didn't even remotely smell like the synthetic version, instead it mainly had notes of vanilla.
FNWL Response: Hi Alison, Our fragrance oils are highly concentrated. The formulation for each fragrance oil is based on the aroma achieved after proper dilution (please see our Fragrance Oils page for more info). I'm thinking that you might be drawing your conclusion about the aroma by smelling it straight from the bottle. Assessing the aroma in that manner can be highly misleading. While some fragrance oils smell incredible straight from the bottle, others simply don't until they're properly diluted.

"I read the crafting mystery, Lye in Wait. The author included recipes and a list of stores online where the ingredients could be purchased. You were the only store on the list that had ALL the ingredients needed for the recipes. Thanks!"
