Recently, catnip essential oil has been studied for its unparalleled effectiveness in repelling mosquitoes and other insects. Make your own natural insect repellent: Blend 10 drops lemon eucalyptus, 5 drops geranium, 5 drops catnip and 10 drops cedarwood Virginia with 30 drops of polysorbate 20. Add this to 8 oz of distilled water and add 1% Germaben.
