Almond flour is used in cosmetic applications as a gentle exfoliant for the skin. It is used extensively in ayurvedic skin care regimens and traditional Indian ubtans. Blend almond flour with other powdered grains, nuts, milk, honey, spices and herbs to create skin nourishing scrubs. Blend the dry ingredients with hydrosols, milk, honey, or heavy cream and apply to the skin. To make a traditional ubtan, blend equal parts almond flour, chickpea flour and rice powder and combine with smaller portions of milk powder, rose petal powder, sandalwood powder, and ground spices. Make a paste with heavy cream and apply to skin. The ubtan should be massaged into the skin until it dries and rubs off. Ubtan treatments leave skin feeling unbelievably soft.

I like the Almond Flour, but not for what I originally bought it for to go with my face mask. I think I'm going to use it in one of my facial scrubs. I really like the quality of this Almond Flour... Definitely a 5!

I use FNWL's Almond Flour for one of the facials my company makes - it is awesome. Not to rough. It's just right.
