Dry-Flo AF Pure is a hydrophobically modified corn starch that helps enhance the feel and slip of your lotions, creams, balms, natural deodorants, powders, mineral cosmetics and lip care products. Its soft, velvety feel gives products a silky, smooth feel during application as well as after dry-down. Dry-Flo AF Pure is irradiated for a clean microbiological profile. Product integrity is maintained as long as it is adequately preserved.
Use Dry-Flo AF Pure to eliminate greasiness in creams, lotions and even in anhydrous balm formulations. When used in body powders or make up, it absorbs body moisture and facial oil without whitening the skin. Dry-Flo AF is perfect for making liquid body powders and silky lotions.
To incorporate Dry-Flo AF Pure into oil and water emulsions, first pre-mix the powder into a slurry of oil. Then, combine phases under 130°F. Alternatively, you can add the powder directly to your emulsified batch slowly with continuous mixing. Aqueous products containing Dry-Flo AF Pure should not be subjected to temperatures above 130°F or the starch will swell and start to dissolve, thickening your product.
To incorporate this product into anhydrous formulations, melt all oils/fats/waxes and slowly sift the powder in while stirring until well blended. In oil anhydrous formulas, Dry-Flo AF Pure is unaffected by temperatures up to 175°F.

Location: East Elmhurst, NY This product is great! I use it in my talc powder and it feels like heaven. It is very soothing, and it is silky on the skin. This is an excellent product!
