Adzuki bean powder, also referred to as Aduki or Azuki Bean Powder, has been used in Japanese skin care regimens for centuries. The bean is finely milled into a soft powder. It gently exfoliates the skin without damaging the surface of the skin. It can be easily incorporated into clays and powdered rice bran or oatmeal. It can be included within facial blend, body wraps and washgrain formulations. It also can be used to color soap to a dusty pink.

Not only is this an excellent exfoliate, but it heals/dries acne as well. And if you want to add moisturizing to this scrub, blend bran rice with this. Leaves skin smooth and soft!

Just amazing. I have acne-prone skin and have been using Adzuki Bean Powder as a facial mask for the past two weeks. I am already seeing some amazing improvements in my skin tone and texture. My acne is getting under control.

Love this! I bought it to use in a body butter shower scrub recipe - but it was too fine and it did not turn out well for me. I wish that FNWL offered whole beans maybe to grind at home. BUT I now use it in a facial scrub recipe that has become an invaluable part of my crafting hobby! It is excellent for facial products and really works better than chemical exfoliants. Also great for sensitive skin.

I use this, combined with ground up rolled oats, in place of soap on my face. It would probably work very well all by itself, and the skin's acid mantle is uncompromised.
