Lavandin Abrialis Hydrosol smells slightly different from Lavender Hydrosol or Lavandin Essential Oil. It is lighter, sweeter and fruitier in aroma, but still conveys the gentle distinctively floral aroma that lavender hydrosols and essential oils are so well known for.
Like Our Organic Lavender Hydrosol, Lavandin Abrialis Hydrosol acts as a humectant and also helps to balance the skin. It can be used for all skin types including combination skin. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties can be helpful in the prevention and healing of acne. It is also known for its ability to help cool sunburn and sooth insect bites. It is a good cleanser for wounds. Combine it with our Cistus Hydrosol for an antibacterial cut, scrape and wound wash that helps stop bleeding.
Lavandin Abrialis Hydrosol is calming and is safe to use in babycare and childcare formulations. Its remarkable calming properties makes it a wonderful addition to sprays for baby's room, baby's bathwater and for use to wipe after diaper changes. It is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial and can be used as a soothing wetting agent for natural baby wipes. It can also be blended with one of our chamomile hydrosols for a synergistic anti-inflammatory and calming blend. Suzanne Catty suggests using Lavender Hydrosol for little girls who want a perfume of their own. We agree, and find the sweet fruity undertones of our Lavandin Abrialis Hydrosol to be especially pleasing for this purpose.
Lavandin Abrialis Hydrosol provides emotional balance. It is both invigorating yet calming. It is an ideal hydrosol for inclusion in formulations for anxiety, depression, irritability and stress.
