Something I: Purchased for Myself
The smell wasn't quite what I expected, but I bet I can adjust it a bit the next time. It is quite oily, but it feels great when you use it - really great. I may reduce the oils just a touch when I make a bigger batch to give as gifts.

Something I: Bought to Give as a Gift
I made this as a Christmas gift for my mother. After it was finished, I kept out a tiny bit to try for myself. A neighbor and I tested it. It was a huge hit with all 3 of us. My neighbor even asked me to make her some if I purchased a second kit!

Something I: Purchased for Myself
This smelled synthetic and reminded me of a cheap Kmart special. I couldn't use it and ended up chucking it in the trash.
FNWL Response: I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the Fragrance that came with this kit. Next time you create a Salt Scrub, you may want to try using an Essential Oil instead. Since Essential Oils are natural, you may find their aroma to be more genuine, and thus more appealing to your taste. Please feel free to use the base recipe that came with the kit as inspiration for creating recipes that better suit your personal taste. If you have any questions about creating Salt Scrubs please let us know.

Something I: Received as a Gift
This was easy to make. Once it sat in the jar for a period of time, the oil came to the top and it became very oily to use.
FNWL Response: It is normal for an oil and salt scrub to separate after settling. However, if you prefer using a less oily scrub you can adjust the recipe to suit your taste. The next time you make this scrub, try adding only half of the oils included in the original recipe. Check the texture, then add more oil until it reaches the perfect consistency to suit your taste.
