Our black melt and pour soap base is transparent vegetable glycerin soap base made with coconut oil. Black melt & pour base is wonderful for creating various additional colors. Black soap is pretty on its own but can be enhanced by adding small amounts of other colors to it while melting. It will take on a slightly different hue. It is also very useful for “muting” other colors. Take a small square of black soap and add it to orange to get a brown color. Always experiment with small portions first so you don’t overshoot the amount of color you need. Black soap is also perfect for Halloween soap favors!
