Our cocoa butter melt and pour soap base is a creamy white vegetable glycerin soap base made with real Cocoa Butter. It, however, does not smell of Cocoa Butter so the aroma will not interfere with the fragrance or essential oils that you would like to add.

Location: Lake Geneva, WI I'm normally not a melt & pour soap maker, as I prefer cold process soaping. But, your Cocoa Butter base, along with the Shea and Cold Cream bases, are excellent and are favorites with my customers. When I do have these M&P soaps at craft shows, they sell out FAST! The base produces a hard bar that lathers like crazy. Also, the base doesn't have any funny odors, so it takes up the fragrance oil very well. I do suggest that you follow FNWL recommendations and heat this base gently in a double-boiler. I have the best results when doing so.
