Our Olive Oil Melt and Pour Soap Base is a translucent vegetable glycerin soap base with a slight green hue and is made with pure Olive Oil.
Melt and Pour Soap Bases are easy to work with, but it is important that you use care when heating them. We recommend using a double boiler to gently heat the base, and stir frequently. Don't leave the base heating on the stove after it's fully melted or it may dry out and form a skin.
