Organic Helichrysum Hydrosol is sometimes known as Organic Everlasting Hydrosol or Organic Immortelle Hydrosol . Its aroma is similar to the tea/honey-like, herbaceous aroma of Helichrysum Essential Oil, but softer and more delicate.
Organic Helichrysum Hydrosol is a strong anti-inflammatory, as is Helichrysum Essential Oil). As such, it is quite useful in formulations intended to aid muscular aches, pains or bruising. Like the essential oil, Organic Helichrysum Hydrosol is also helpful in speeding the recovery of wounds and scars. Organic Helichrysum Hydrosol is helpful in applications intended to combat and soothe acne, and is a good choice for toners and other formulations intended for maturing skin or skin conditions such as eczema. Suzanne Catty mentions that Organic Helichrysum Hydrosol is an effective ingredient in mouthwashes and other oral care formulations.
Emotionally, Helichrysum helps to induce a sense of calm and grounding. Having said that, some individuals find that Helichrysum causes reflection on past memories and emotional pain and helps the user to gain closure. For emotional and spiritual work, the oil can be too strong/powerful for some individuals, and in those instances, Organic Helichrysum Hydrosol offers a more gentle alternative. Spiritually, Helichrysum Essential Oil and Helichrysum Hydrosol are are often used during prayer and meditation. Helichrysum is grounding and can help bring balance to the 1st chakra.

We ship our hydrosols in plastic to avoid breakage, but hydrosols should be transferred to glass as soon as possible. Like essential oils, hydrosols should be stored in a cool dry place. The shelf life of hydrosols is up to 2 years when they are stored properly. Our Organic Helichrysum Hydrosol does not contain any preservatives. Hydrosols can be stored in the refrigerator.
