Ingredients:
1 heaping tbsp of each herb (see below)
1 quart boiling water
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
For dry hair, try the following herbs: chamomile flowers, nettle, comfrey root, elder flowers
For oily hair: lemon peel, lemongrass, peppermint
For general care: nettle, elder flowers, rosemary leaves, burdock root
Instructions:
Make an infusion of the herbs, steeping at least 30 minutes. Strain and add vinegar. Pour mixture over hair, catch the run-off in a bowl and pour over hair repeatedly. You will get the benefits of the herbs, while the vinegar seals the hair cuticle, making the hair soft, shiny, and less tangled. Use after shampooing.
