Summary:
This balm sinks in quickly, about 5 minutes, and has a wonderful scent from the infused herbs. Lightly applied, it is a great all-over balm. It can be applied more heavily to heal and sooth dry skin.
Ingredients:
4 parts beeswax
4 parts olive oil infused w/ equal parts of calendula, comfrey root, chamomile, and nettle
1 part liquid jojoba
1 part avocado oil
6 parts sweet almond oil
1% T50(optional
Instructions:
I usually measure by fractions of a cup, but you can make a "part" whatever you desire. Melt wax in double boiler. Turn off heat. Add remaining ingredents, stiring to prevent wax from becoming solid. Pour into wide mouthed jar or tin. Allow to set until solid. (Cosistency can be checked before pouring by dipping a spoon into the mix, and more wax or oils can be added to adjust firmness.)
