Summary:

A truely nice Oatmeal, Milk & Honey soap

Ingredients:

4 oz beeswax
5 oz sweet almond oil
15 oz coconut oil
15 oz palm oil
25 oz vegetable shortening
8.7 oz lye
24 oz water/milk or water & milk mixutre
1 oz honey
Cinnamon powder for sprinkling at trace
1/2 cups colloidal oatmeal coarse
Oatmeal, Milk & Honey fragrance oil if desired

Instructions:

Caution: Beeswax may excellerate trace.
Follow the regular procedure for cold process soap making.
Melt the beeswax gently over a double boiler and then add your oils/fats to warm them up.
I use powdered milk with this recipe. I set aside 2 ounces of water, mix in my powdered milk, added the honey and I add this at trace.
Add the oatmeal and sprinkle the cinnamon powder in at trace.
You can use goats milk, cows milk, water, etc. Any way it turns out great, nice hard bar and not scratchy.
