Comments: I have not used this product yet, so I can't say how it is to work with it.I wish it had been made clear in the product description that the order unit was in fact 3 individually wrapped 2 lb. blocks for the total of 6 lbs. If I had known this, I would only have wanted a single block since I have never worked with it and wasn't even sure if I would like it!! I had to use almost half of my gift certificate to pay for the shipping, since 6 lbs is a lot of weight!! So I was NOT HAPPY about that!
FNWL Response: Hi Carol, if you please view the pricing and sizes offered for our Melt & Pour Honey Base, we do offer our Melt & Pour Honey Base in just a single 2lb block size option. If you are brand new and still learning about particular product and ingredients, we do encourage you to purchase the smallest size. The 2 lb. block size is much easier to cut and work with than if you had to try cutting through a larger 6 lb. block. We think that you'll love the Melt & Pour Honey Base once you use it.

Comments: This is an especially nice soap base to both work with and use as a finished product. With its amber color and soft feel, it's also all-around pleasant to handle and see. I made a very nice springtime hand soap with it mixing in some cocoa butter and orange oil that I plan on improving upon with the next batch. I'm thinking of adding some grains for exfoliation I have a family of gardeners.

"I just wanted to write to say thank you. I have been purchasing products from your Web site for quite a while, namely rice bran, seaweed powders, camellia oil, dead sea salts and most recently, shea butter. I have very sensitive skin, and there aren't many products on the market that I don't develop a nasty rash from. I'm a research chemist, and many ingredients in mass market products are petrochemically derived. Although the by products may be trace, it is still enough to agitate my skin. It is also important for me to select products that do not have a vile effect on the environment. I ran an online search for rice bran to use as a gentle face wash and stumbled across FNWL. I was absolutely delighted with the delicate cleansing and calming effect it had on my face. Most recently, the shea butter I purchased has completely healed the eczema on my knees. I wanted to say thank you. Your product quality and prices are absolutely superb. "
