Organic Sage Hydrosol is produced during the distillation of Organic Sage Essential Oil. Our Organic Sage Officinalis Hydrosol possesses an uplifting, pleasant, herbaceous aroma that is consistent with the aroma of the fresh herb.
Organic Sage Hydrosol is astringent and is well suited for use with normal to oily skin. Within Hydrosols: The Next Aromatherapy, hydrosol expert Suzanne Catty states that the hydrosol is an excellent choice for maturing skin. She also describes numerous other beneficial applications for Sage Officinalis Hydrosol.
In aromatherapy applications, Organic Sage Hydrosol is uplifting and energizing, making it well suited for room mists, body sprays and other formulations intended to energize the body and mind, combat fatigue, help improve alertness and refreshen tired minds. It can be used alone or in combination with other hydrosols to help combat anxiety and stress.
Do not use Organic Sage Hydrosol during the first trimester of pregnancy. Avoid in instances of high blood pressure.

We ship our hydrosols in plastic to avoid breakage, but hydrosols should be transferred to glass as soon as possible. Like essential oils, hydrosols should be stored in a cool dry place. The shelf life of hydrosols is up to 2 years when they are stored properly. Our Organic Sage Hydrosol does not contain any preservatives. Hydrosols can be stored in the refrigerator.
*Typical Shelf Life begins on the date of manufacture and is defined as the typical shelf life of an ingredient when it is stored and handled properly. The Typical Shelf Life is offered as a general guideline. It should not be considered to be an expiration date. Many ingredients are usable beyond the stated date, especially when stored and handled very carefully.
