Comments: I purchased the vanilla sampler for myself. The sampler has been unavailable for a long time, so, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. I gave it a 3 because 3 of the 7 oils just do not smell good. The vanilla buttercream is disappointing because it smells like air freshener for your car. The Tahitian vanilla smells like fruit mixed with vanilla. Not good. As for the vanilla sandlewood, I think it would be best for someone who likes sandlewood. I didn't expect to like it, so, I wasn't too disappointed when I sniffed it and confirmed my dislike. I was really hoping that would like all of the samples since I had been wanting to purchase them for a very long time.
FNWL Response: Thank you for your review, Stephanie. If you haven't already, please be sure that you are not basing your assessment of the aroma solely from sniffing directly from the bottle. FNWL Fragrance Oils are concentrated, and the optimal aroma is achieved once diluted in formulations. Since a product's aroma and fragrance are highly subjective, we strive to offer as many fragrance oil samplers as possible (and apologize this was out of stock) and provide fragrance oils in small sizes for evaluation and experimentation.

Comments: I enjoyed all the Vanilla fragrances!! All but the Vanilla Tahitian. Smells a little like old butter, but that's ok. I'm pleased with the rest over all!!!
