Making Linen SpraysTo make a linen spray, start with an essential oil blend or fragrance oil and add a solubilizer. You can use Polysorbate 20 mixed 1:1 or our fragrance base mixed 1:4 (fragrance:solubilizer). Some trial and error will be necessary as some fragrances may cloud when added to P20 or the fragrance base. Shake the blend until you get a homogenous solution. You may need to add a bit more solubilizer if the oil does not become miscible. Once the oil dissolves in the solubilizer, you can now add it to a 50/50 (or desired proportion) water/alcohol blend. |
