Turbinado Sugar

Description:

Turbinado Sugar is produced from 100% pure cane sugar and retains some of the naturally occurring molasses from the sugar cane. Its golden brown color and crystalline texture make it well suited for artisans and manufacturers developing body scrubs, body polishes and other exfoliating formulations where a more natural appearance and noticeable texture are desired.

Turbinado Sugar provides physical exfoliation and features a somewhat larger grain size than typical refined white sugar. Its distinctive crystals can contribute both texture and visual interest to finished formulations.

For artisans who are new to formulating with sugar, Turbinado Sugar can be used as the primary exfoliating ingredient or combined with other compatible ingredients to create formulations with the desired texture, appearance and sensory characteristics.

Our Turbinado Sugar ranges in particle size from approximately 0.85 mm to 1.10 mm. Its relatively coarse crystalline structure makes particle size an important consideration when selecting it for the intended finished product.

Store Turbinado Sugar in an airtight container in a cool, dry, moisture-free environment to help maintain product quality and minimize clumping.
