Ginger Essential Oil, Zingiber officinale, has a warm, strong, spicy aroma. Ginger can be calming yet also act as a stimulant. Within muscle and massage formulations, it helps to relieve soreness and stiffness in muscles and increases circulation. Ginger Oil also can strengthen the immune system during the cold season. It blends well with citrus oils, sandalwood, frankincense, cedarwood, and palmarosa.

Ginger Essential Oil is very strong, and it must be diluted significantly before using on skin or in the bath. Use it with caution during pregnancy.

Comments: This is not just From Nature With Love - I also ordered this Product from another supplier and it smelled the same. In prior years the scent was much sweeter. Now, I guess it is this current crop, the scent is much muskier or earthy - almost dank. It has changed my formulations where I've tried to accomadate the difference but it has not worked. Hopefully, next years crop will prove a bit more fragrant.

FNWL Response: Ramona, there is nothing wrong with our present lot of Chinese Ginger Essential Oil. It possesses the traditional notes associated with a good quality Ginger Essential Oil - Ginger typically is not a sweet essential oil. You are probably comparing this essential oil to our Sweet Ginger Essential Oil from Indonesia.
