A great 1lb batch to experiment with

1 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup palm oil
1 cup milk,cream,powdered milk,anything you'd like
1/4 cup Red Devil lye granules
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons essential oil

Follow basic cold process soapmaking procedures and combine lye solution & oils at 110 to 120 degrees. Stir in the milk. This recipe usually traces within 20 min. Add essential oil. Pour in mold. (I use a plastic rubbermail drawer organizer. Leave in mold for two days. Remove from mold and allow to age for 3 weeks).

"You have a truly WONDERFUL company! Not only the incredible selection of marvelous products, but also the excellent people who stand behind them.. In this day and age of poor quality merchandise and apathetic customer service, it is a true delight to encounter a company with exceptional quality in both fields. I'm so glad to have wandered into your warm and very fragrant world. Thanks in advance for all of the fun I'm going to be having with your beautiful products!"
