Our pure Aloe Vera Gel is processed and made in the USA by a processor that has received certification from the International Aloe Science Council (IASC).

Pure Aloe Vera Gel is known for its ability to soothe, moisturize and protect the skin and hair. It is obtained from the inner fillets of fresh, premium quality aloe vera leaves and then processed to remove the pulp and fiber. The resulting gel is then decolorized, pasteurized, and preserved to give it a stable shelf life.

Our pure Aloe Vera Gel is actually not gel-like, but is more thin in texture. The gels that are commonly found on the market are "gelled" using a gelling agent.

Aloe vera is quite fragile and will readily grow bacteria if it becomes contaminated. To prevent contamination when using aloe vera gel in a formulation, you will need to properly preserve your formulation using an anti-microbial agent such as our grapefruit seed extract, Germaben or a combination of parabens. Although the shelf life of aloe vera gel is one year, it is best not to store aloe vera gel longer than six months. Fresh gel is best. Refrigerate aloe vera gel to prolong the shelf life.

Use Aloe Vera Gel 1:1 in your creams, lotions, body sprays, and other formulations. Aloe Vera Gel can also be used as a wetting agent for face masks and body wraps. Blend your dry ingredients with part water or hydrosol and part aloe vera gel.

Note: Including 10% aloe vera gel in your formulations is generally sufficient to exhibit the effects of aloe vera in your product. Your products, however, must contain at least 15% aloe vera gel to meet the International Aloe Science Council certification requirements.

Preserved with 0.1% potassium sorbate and 0.05% sodium benzoate.

Comments: As always, the products are very good quality. But Aloe vera gel was like water, i thought it would be of gel consistency.

FNWL Response: Hi Ashwini, thanks for your feedback. It sounds like you might not have spotted our bolded comment within our product description: "Our pure Aloe Vera Gel is actually not gel-like, but is more thin in texture.
