It's easy to use but I find that it leaves a waxy feel on your skin after washing when the skin is still wet. However, the waxy feel goes away when the skin is dry and is a wonderfully moisturizing soap. FNWL Response: That's a really interesting observation Alison! I use soaps that I make from our M&P bases on a nearly daily basis and haven't noticed a waxy feel myself. I wonder if the way that you heat the base (double boiler is recommended) or the duration that it's heated (please don't overcook it) or any other additives that you include in your soap may be contributing.
