However, this beautifully aromatic herb also enjoys a history of being used is fragrancing and wellness applications.
Several chemotypes of Basil Essential Oil exist. Our Organic Basil Linalool Essential Oil is abundant in linalool, a monoterpenol that is appreciated for its benefits in wellness applications. The linalool chemotype is much safer to use in skin and personal care applications than is the estragole (methyl chavicol) chemotype.
