Organic Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil, sometimes known as Organic Blue Gum Essential Oil, is steam distilled from the aromatic leaves of organic Eucalyptus globulus, an aromatic tree that is found primarily in Australia and Tasmania.

Organic Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil is typically selected for room diffusion and chest balm type of applications. The aroma is considered medicinal yet fresh, woody and earthy. Organic Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil is typically found to be the more medicinal in aroma than that of Eucalyptus citriodora or Eucalyptus radiata.

In holistic aromatherapy applications, Organic Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil is typically considered to be energizing and uplifting. Is can be used in blends to help promote focus and clarity.

Aromatically, Organic Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil blends well with peppermint, spearmint, lavender, lemon and other citrus oils, rosemary, cedarwood and other wood oils.

Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend avoiding use of Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil on or near the face of babies and children. For topical formulations intended for adults, they recommend a dermal maximum of 20%.
