Our precious Organic Rose Damascena CO2 Select Extract, Rosa damascena, is extracted from exquisitely aromatic rose petals. As with all of our organic ingredients, it is certified organic by CCOF. In addition to its lovely, intoxicating, floral aroma, Organic Rose Damascena Extract is known for its ability to calm the mind, ease feelings of stress or sadness, and provide comfort for those suffering from grief or the loss of a loved one. Within aromatherapy work, Organic Rosa damascena is used to support normal menstruation and female issues. It is also useful in facial formulations as it helps support healthy skin.
The consistency of our Organic Rose Damascena CO2 Select Extract is very thick. To best work with this precious oil, we recommend that you very gently heat the oil. If you intend to blend it with lipids including vegetable oils, we also recommend that you gently heat them as well prior to blending.
