Our Organic Lemon Balm Hydrosol, sometimes known as Organic Melissa Hydrosol, possesses a pleasant lemony, herbaceous aroma. It is meticulously produced by expert artisanal distillers who distill specifically for the hydrosol. It is not distilled as a byproduct of essential oil production. Distilled using copper alembic stills, our Organic Lemon Balm Hydrosol does not have the unpleasant "still note" that hydrosols can have when they are produced using stainless steel equipment. Distillation using copper stills may also help the hydrosol be more resistant to microbial growth.

Organic Lemon Balm Hydrosol is highly versatile and can be used for a variety of applications on its own or as an ingredient in a wide range of formulations. Organic Lemon Balm Hydrosol is refreshing and rejuvenating and is well suited for inclusion in facial toners, body sprays, natural fragrances and other water-based personal care, holistic aromatherapy and home fragrancing products.

Organic Lemon Balm Hydrosol is suitable for all skin types, but is especially well suited for oily skin.

Organic Lemon Balm Hydrosol is calming and may help to balance the emotions. It can be used alone or in combination with other soothing hydrosols.

We ship our hydrosols in plastic to avoid breakage, but hydrosols should be transferred to glass as soon as possible. Like essential oils, hydrosols should be stored in a cool dry place. The shelf life of hydrosols is up to 2 years when they are stored properly. Our Organic Lemon Balm Hydrosol does not contain any preservatives. Hydrosols can be stored in the refrigerator.

Comments: I've used this in a skin care formulation for my face. The scent is subtle and pleasant. I have no skin concerns with using this. I am prone to migraines that can be triggered by scent and this product does not trigger migraines for me. I will buy it again.
