Make perfect soap loaves with our easy-to-use collapsible, wooden soap molds. To use, assemble the mold, making sure the fit is nice and tight. You should not have leakage problems if the mold is assembled tightly. To prevent leakage if necessary, you can seal the inner corners of the molds by using soft handmade soap. Lay one piece of wax paper inside the mold across the width, and another piece across the length. Crease the corners so the paper lays flat inside. You are now ready to pour the soap into the mold. Cover the soap loosely with plastic wrap or wax paper and cover with a towel or small blanket. To un-mold the loaf, simply undo the wing nuts and remove the walls. To clean the mold, scrape off the soap residue and wipe with a damp cloth, but do not immerse in water. When you are ready to cut your loaf, these loaves will fit right into our single slice loaf cutter.

Comments: I love this mold! I now have 5 of them. I just line them with freezer paper, and when Iready to unmold my soap, I loosen the wing nuts at both ends and lift the soap right out. No need to take the mold apart. After removing the soap, I tighten the wing nuts back up and it's ready to go for the next soap! Love, love, love!!!

FNWL Response: Thanks very much for sharing your helpful tip, Merilyn!

Comments: Good-looking mold that is easy to assemble. Problem: My soap won't come out of the mold. It's as if it's glued together. Mold is lined with wax paper, and the soap set up for over 24 hours. Any suggestions as to how I can remove it while keeping both soap and mold intact?

FNWL Response: Candace, I'm surprised you're having difficulty when lining the mold with wax paper. Have you tried using plastic wrap (some wrap each individual piece)? In trying to think of other possibilities, I suppose there's a chance that the brand and quality of the wax paper could also be playing a part.

Comments: Very nice mold. It was well packed when it arrived and very easy to assemble. It was just what I needed. I already made 2 batches of soap, and it made a lot of bars. Highly recommend.
