Chocolate Body Butter Recipe

Summary:
Melts on contact!
Ingredients:
4 oz. shea butter
4 oz. cocoa butter
4 oz. olive oil
1 Tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teapsoon milk chocolate flavor oil or fragrance oil
1 teaspoon polysorbate 20
1 drop liquid par oil
Instructions:
I've done this in the microwave with good results however is it recommended that you heat the shea butter to 175 degrees in a double boiler for 20 min to complely melt sugar/fat crystals. When shea butter cools to 130 degrees add other oils and cocoa powder. Strain a couple of times to remove all clumps. Cool in the fridge for about an hour or so (but not too long). Mix flavor oil and polysorbate 20 together and add to oil/butter mixture. Add 1-2 drops preservative such as liquid par oil and mix well. Package, cover, and finish cooling butter in fridge or at room temperature.
It works great on cracked heals, dry elbows etc. It solidifies like margarine and melts quickly with body heat so it can be used as a fun massage oil too.
