Essential Oil & Calendula Acne Treatment Formulation (Recipe)

Herbal water steam for blemish-prone skin

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Calendula petals
Lavender essential oil
Bergamot essential oil
Tea Tree essential oil
2 spoons raw honey
Small Bath Towel
Jojoba

Instructions:

Boil 8 cups water. Stir in 1/2 cup Calendula petals. Cover, allow to steep for 10 minutes. Add essential oils: 3 drops Lavender, 2 drops Bergamot, 1 drop Tea Tree. Add 2 tsp. raw honey. Pour the herbal water into a large ceramic bowl. Sit down and hover face over bowl, with the bath towel draped over your head. Keep eyes closed. Allow steam to moisten face until water has completely cooled. Pat face dry with bath towel. Finish by massaging a small amount of Jojoba evenly into skin.
