Hemp Lip Butter Formulation (Recipe)

Ingredients:

2 oz Hemp Butter
1 oz Jojoba Oil
2 oz Grapeseed Oil
1 oz Beeswax
tad of Vit. E T-50
tad of Vit. 1400 IU

Instructions:

Place the hemp butter, jojoba, grapeseed and beeswax in microwave safe bowl, and microwave for 10-30 second bursts, stirring in between, until the beeswax is melted. Carefully remove from microwave and put on heat proof surface. Add .5 to 1 ml of each of the Vitamin E oils. You can add flavor oil, at this point, if you wish. You should get a jelly/buttery consistency when it solidifies. As the hot weather approaches you may need a touch more beeswax to keep it from melting too quickly. You can also try the new waxes that are available here at FNWL. Carnauba and candelilla waxes help to keep balms solid in the warmer months.
