Description:
Green Illite Clay is efficient at drawing oils and impurities from the skin. It is often mistaken for French Green Clay (montmorillonite). Green Illite Clay is similar in structure to montmorillonite, but does not expand with water. Green Illite Clay can also be used in soaps (about 1 tablespoon per pound of soap) and body/foot powders.
Important Note: The color of natural ingredients can vary from lot to lot. Our current lot of Green Illite Clay is more khaki in color than our previous lots. The photo to the left is a photo taken of the present lot, but please remember that monitors can render colors differently.
Limit to 1 application per week. Do not use for sensitive or dry skin types.
