Description:

Multani Mitti Clay, also known as Indian Fullers Earth, is a calcium bentonite, similar to kaolin clay. It is formed by the decomposition of volcanic ash. Fullers used it to clean sheep's wool prior to spinning it, and hence the reason for its name. Multani Mitti Clay is a mildly absorbent cosmetic clay. It is good for drawing excess oils from the skin and stimulating circulation to the skin.

This lot of Multani Mitti Clay has been irradiated to reduce the microbial load. We also stock Multani Mitti Clay that has not been irradiated, but it is not listed on our website. Please contact us for more information.
