Tea Tree Essential Oil, Melaleuca alternifolia, is one of the most widely respected and used essential oils as it is remarkably beneficial in supporting optimal immune function, healthy skin and hair and overall wellness.

Native to Australia, the Tea Tree is a small tree with paper-like bark. The tree is also known by several other names including narrow-leaved paperbark.

Our distillation partner maintains sustainability standards for the harvesting and production of Tea Tree Essential Oil that includes 100% recycling of the biomass (plant material) that is left over after distillation of the essential oil.

Aromatically, steam distilled Tea Tree Essential Oil possesses a fresh, medicinal, woody aroma. Tea Tree Essential Oil blends well with lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, niaouli, spikenard, sandalwood and vetiver.

Tea Tree Essential Oil is praised in research and within reputable essential oil books and monographs. We welcome and encourage you to research and learn about this very important essential oil.

For topical formulations intended for adults, Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 15% for Tea Tree Essential Oil.
