It is a beautiful versatile oil that blends especially well with essential oils that are in the wood, resin, floral, spice and citrus families. It's of course an essential oil that is well suited for use within holiday themed formulations, but therapeutically and within natural fragrancing applications, it is a highly beneficial essential oil to use year round.

Most conifer oils are comprised primarily of monoterpenes. Organic Black Spruce Essential Oil is unique amongst coniferous essential oils as it typically contains about 20-25% esters such as bornyl acetate and isobornyl acetate. Esters tend to be calming and balancing, and they contribute to the oil's ability to help balance the emotions without being excessively stimulating.

Its natural chemical composition makes Organic Black Spruce Essential Oil an excellent choice for use within skin and hair care, holistic wellbeing, massage, soap making, fragrancing and cleaning applications intended to support general wellness, respiratory health and a healthy environment.
