Glycerin occurs naturally when making soap. It is a humectant that draws moisture to itself. Vegetable glycerin can be added to creams, lotions, bath salts and your other formulations to add additional moisturization. Use glycerin in moderation as it can be very sticky.

Comments: I use this in my hand cream based on a recipe that my Mother In Law had. It is wonderful and very good for your skin. I usually make 8-10 batches at a time - my sisters-in-law love this cream.
