Royal Jelly Powdered Herbal Extract 1X

Royal Jelly is a highly nutritious substance secreted by the hypopharyngeal gland of young worker bees to feed young larvae and the adult queen bee.

Royal Jelly contains 2-6% trans-10-hydroxy delta-2-decenoic acid (HDA), a monounsaturated fatty acid with a hydroxyl group. Hydroxy fatty acids are known to help protect skin from dehydration and reduce inflammation. Royal Jelly contains collagen, lecithin, protein, sugars, mineral salts and vitamins A, C, D and E. Royal Jelly also contains the B vitamin complex and is especially rich in pantothenic acid. Royal Jelly is used in a wide array of skin care formulations, but it is prominently used in anti-aging products and in products designed for skin regeneration or rejuvenation. Royal Jelly is also used in creams or ointments for healing wounds and burns.

Our Royal Jelly 1X Powdered Extract is a standardized herbal extract. It is water-soluble and can be added to the water phase of your formulations. It may leave a slight residue at the bottom of your formulation. The typical usage rate is 1-3%.

Comments: I had the hardest time finding a water soluble Royal Jelly powder for use in cosmetics. I was so happy to see that FNWL carried it. I love this product! It gives a wonderful thickness on its own, and you don't need to use that much. I have not even needed to use a thickener when I use this. I've made a Royal Jelly Facial Moisturizer, which actually looks a little clearish and is more of a gel/cream, and a Royal Jelly Bath Milk bubble bath. I love how both of them turned out. This is a must have for me. It's moisturizing and aids in anti-aging. It also has some label appeal. You can't go wrong with this!

Comments: I made a face cream and added the Royal Jelly to the water phase. It blended in well. The cream is very smooth, no feeling of grittiness or powder in the cream at all. I also added your OM&H powder to the face cream. Worked very well and smells warm and yummy!
