Location: East Elmhurst, NY This is the first time I have rated any FNWL product as bad. I love your products but with this product I had 2 friends state their tops broke. One individual was on vacation and she had to throw the product away. The other individual had to tape her top back together. I have started using another lip container made by FNWL and I have to tell you it's strong, has a beautiful presentation and my friends love it.
FNWL Response: Polystyrene tends to be a bit brittle if the tops are screwed on too tightly - they will break. Our white lip balm jars are a better choice for products that need to be closed very tightly or that need to hold up to rougher care. Solid balms, however, are perfect for these clear jars.
