Our Organic Balsam Fir Essential Oil is steam distilled from the needles and twigs of Abies balsamea, a highly aromatic evergreen tree that is indigenous to Canada and the northern United States.

Aromatically, Organic Balsam Fir Essential Oil is a middle note that possesses a fresh, crisp, clean, coniferous aroma. It is a versatile oil that blends especially well with essential oils that are in the wood, resin, floral, spice and citrus families.

Organic Balsam Fir Essential Oil is abundant in a-Pinene, B-Pinene and other constituents present within the monoterpene family.

Its natural chemical composition makes Organic Balsam Fir Essential Oil an excellent choice for use within skin and hair care, holistic wellbeing, massage, soap making, fragrancing and cleaning applications intended to support general wellness, respiratory health and a healthy environment. It is a good choice for inclusion in "medicinal" smelling blends as it can soften and improve the aroma of such blends.
